We give to these missions on a quarterly basis and each gets the
same amount, which is $456.80. Doesn't sound like much does it?
But, if you add it all up it accounts to approximately 12% of the
entire church budget, and it ends up
being a grand total of $18,272 a
year!
·
African Christian Missions (ACM) - The goals of
ACM are to plant churches in all 18 West African countries, and help
these churches to learn to plant new churches themselves. The
final goal is to continue to expand into other countries and regions.
In Cross River State, which is in the lower right corner of Nigeria,
there are now 11 churches and four of those now have average
attendance of better than 300. They are offering Bible
Only-Unity seminars in several cities and looking to start a new
church in Benin City. If you are interested in further assisting
them in their work you can contact them at 217-948-5486 or E-mail them
at EdNigeria@aol.com.
·Taking Christ to Millions (TCM) - TCM is
located in Indianapolis, IN. TCM, International is dedicated to
bringing the Gospel to Eastern Europe. TCM, Int. was founded in
1963 and was dedicated to letting the Christians in Communist Eastern
Europe know they were not forgotten by providing food, Bibles,
Christian literature, medicine and clothing.
In 1971, a house in
Austria called "Haus Edelwiess" was purchased to serve as jumping off
point into Eastern Europe
to help the Christians there.
In 1982, TCM, Int., expanded the mission at Haus Edelwiess to also
provide leadership training to Christians in Eastern Europe.
Christians in those countries could come to Austria to do Bible Study
and
other topics with professors and preachers from the United States.
Classes were also offered "in-country" for those Christians who could
not come to Austria. Today, more than 43 years after it was
founded, TCM, International
continues to serve the Christians in
Eastern Europe. If you are interested in helping
out or learning more about TCMI,
they may be contacted by 317-299-0333
or you can e-mail them at tcm@tcmi.org.

New Hebron Christian
School recognizes God as the creator of all things, the source
for all
truth and His Word as the final authority in communicating His
truth. True education must
come from God and is incomplete without a personal knowledge of Him. We believe
that
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He,
not education, is man's only hope of salvation.
We believe
that the Bible is God's inspired Word and is
completely accurate in all matters,
scientific, historical, and
spiritual. |

Christian Homes, Inc.
-
Prior
to 1960, most people who retired stayed at home, and those
needing real
nursing care were kept in hospitals. Senior adults had few options, and
nursing homes provided minimal
care and basic services.
Christian Homes was established in 1962 by a group of men who had $10.66 and
the
belief that there
should be a good, Christian place for the elderly to live and receive
care.
The Christian Nursing Home
opened in Lincoln, Illinois, in 1965. Over the next
30 years, the ministry of
Christian Homes grew.
Communities and services were
expanded to include specialized services like
Memory Care for residents
with
Alzheimer's disease, and rehabilitative therapy programs.
With communities in 15 locations in 4 states, over 2,300 employees, and over
2,200
residents, Christian
Homes is the nation's 4th largest not-for-profit provider of
healthcare
services to the elderly. Christian
Homes has over 1600 Medicare and
Medicaid certified skilled nursing-care beds,
over 150 assisted-living
apartments,
and over 500 independent living apartments and garden homes to
meet the growing
needs of
senior adults.
