· Dinner & Concert – Wednesday, March 9, we welcome Ansil Harpold representing American Rehabilitation Ministries.  Along with a vocal concert, Mr. Harpold will be talking about the work ARM carries out with America's prisons and military.  Dinner will be served from 6-78 PM with the concert beginning at 7 PM.  An offering will be received.

· Easter Choir Ensemble – "Because He Lives" is the name of the musical chosen for our Community Easter Celebration.  Practices have been set for Wednesdays at 7 PM in classroom #8.  It's not too late to get on board.  See Marian Yakey for books and listening CDs to take home with you to learn parts in your spare time.

· Drivers Needed – Help!  We need people to volunteer to drive the bus on the 1st and 2nd Sundays of each month starting in March.  At the present time, the bus picks up people in Lawrenceville for Sunday School and takes them home after 2nd service.  If you are willing to serve, contact the church office, Tim Zehner, or Chris Martin.

· Prayer Breakfast – Join us next Saturday, March 5, at 7:30 AM for the monthly Prayer Breakfast.  We will be praying for the church's ministry teams as well as those on the prayer list.  WE will also be serving up Omelets and English Muffins.

·  Kingdom Builders – The First Christian Church of Oblong is hosting the next Kingdom Builders men's fellowship on Monday, March 7th.  This one is a family night so the whole family is invited.  A pancake and sausage supper begins at 5:230 PM and Matt Merold will speak at 7 PM.

·  Red Cross Blood Drive – Mark down Thursday, March 10th for the next Red Cross community blood drive.  It will be held in Central's Activity Center from 1-6 PM.  The goal is 31 donations.

·  Worship Attendance Folders – As part of the church's shepherding program, new attendance folders have been placed in the seats.  The Elders request that you sign your family name and number of family members present each time you attend worship.  It is the Elders intent to follow up more closely on folks missing from our gatherings.

· On Line Membership Directory – The church is updating its pictorial directory and going online with it.  You can access the directory through the church's website and by obtaining the password through the church office. 

· Cookbooks – We have lots of cookbooks still available to buy!  The cookbooks cost $10 and are available at the Welcome Desk.  Cookbooks are available from the church office during the week.
