· FRIEND DAY AT LAWRENCEVILLE CITY PARK – Sunday, August 29th.  The goal is to give our members a special out-of-the-ordinary worship event that does not fall on a holiday to invite friends, neighbors, and relatives to.  We are planning Sunday worship, dinner, games and inflatables for the children.  We ask our church family to not only plan on coming personally, but to invite someone to come along with you.  What a great way to introduce someone to your church!

 · CAMP - Not Just for Kids!  – There are just a few weeks of camp left for kids this summer.  Check the poster at the welcome desk.  Now its time to think about fall camps for families and adults.  Camp Illiana announces Labor Day Family Camp - September 3rd - 6th.  Young At Heart for Seniors - September 14th; and the Golf Scramble - September 11th.  Information and registration materials are at the welcome desk.

· Oil Belt Kitchen Help Needed – If you could help out in the kitchen at Oil Belt Camp on Monday, August 9th let Phil know.  We have  been asked to supply four workers for the day.

· Financial Peace University – Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University will be offered on Monday nights starting August 2nd.  The cost for the class will be approximately $90.  There will be a preview on Monday, July 19th at 6:30 p.m. at the church if you think you are interested.  Please sign up at the welcome desk if you cannot make the July 19th preview.  Any questions, please contact Glenn Hotz.  Child care will be provided.

· VBS Staff Appreciation Night – Wednesday, July 21st at 6 p.m.  If you helped at ALL with VBS this year, you are invited to join us in the activity center for pizza and a drawing for prizes.  You deserve it after all you did to show the kids that God cares for them!  Way to go!

· N2Y Club Family Pool Party – Meet us at the Lawrenceville City Pool on Thursday, August 5th from 6:15-8:15 p.m. to cool off.  The whole family is invited and we will provide the snacks!

· At Your Service Handicap Ramp Project  – We've been called upon once again to aid a senior citizen in our community with a wheelchair ramp.  We're going to try to do this one on a couple Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  If you are willing to lend a hand, sign up at the welcome desk and we'll pick dates that work for the crew.

· On Line Membership Directory – The church is updating its pictorial directory and going online with it.  You can access the directory through the church's website and by obtaining the password through the church office. 

· Cookbooks – We have lots of cookbooks still available to buy!  The cookbooks cost $10 and are available at the Welcome Desk.  Cookbooks are available from the church office during the week.
